Hey guys! We thought we'd focus on the topic of hand-me-downs in this post. We don't care what anyone says, hand-me-downs are the freaking bomb. Cool story: Pablo is hispanic (surprise). His mom is straight from Guatemala. BUT. Curve ball. His dad is from Dublin, Ireland. The fancy shoes that Pablo is sporting in this post are hand-me-downs from his Irish grandfather who wore them when he was Pablo's current age. Pretty cool, right? We think so. Jenny's purse and necklace are hand-me-downs from her mom. Her mom was quite the fashionista in her day. She made her own clothes and everything! So if you guys ever want any awesome vintage stuff, ask your family members. It's like thrifting...only it's free. Also, we feel as though everything is back in style now, whether it's from the 40s or the 80s. So don't be afraid to wear crazy looking things because you might just start a trend. Have an awesome day guys! God bless. Hello everyone! We decided to save some helpless tadpoles behind Pablo's house. Sam, who is Pablo's 5-year-old nephew, also came to their rescue. We believe that even though some animals out there seem small and insignificant, they are living creatures as well. They definitely need our help from time to time in order to survive in this crazy world. This doesn't just go for animals. There are people at all stages of life that are constantly being abandoned. Even environmental life could be taken better care of. We saw a picture somewhere that said: what if trees gave off free wifi? How many more would be planted? Too bad they just produce the oxygen that we breath. Ha! Thought that was clever. But anyway! Moral of this post: when you can help someone or something, do it. You might just change a life. God bless. We had a lot of fun shooting this blog post. It was such a beautiful spot on this huge hill that happened to be like 3 minutes away from each of our houses. We wanted to utilize the corn as a background before it was cut down. It's amazing how about a month ago we didn't realize how many beautiful spots there are in and around the town that we live in. We always knew our area was beautiful, but never really thought about the countless places that would be great for pictures. It seems like we were always driving by these places without knowing how special they actually are. The town we live in is siickk so our goal for you guys is to find a place where you live that you think is beautiful and just chill there for a little. Instead of trying to find reasons to hate where you live, start finding reasons that help you appreciate where you live. Now to change the subject. Pablo is wearing an Aeropostale button up. Yes. Aeropostale. Remember back in 2004 when they used to be all about cute little cartoon monkeys? Well, they've changed their look up a bit. We dig it. Also, everyone should own a Movado watch if they want to be classy as F. To be honest though, we're not really about brands at all. Whatever looks good is fine with us. We shop at Walmart. It's not the only place we shop, but they've got some nice stuff. Jenny can appreciate a good coach bag...but there's no need to flaunt it. We are, by no means, wealthy. We'll let you in on some secrets... Pablo's Movado watch = given to him by a friend that didn't want it anymore. Jenny's coach purses = vintage from her mom. In the end, brands don't matter as long as you enjoy the clothes you wear. And with that, have a fantastic day. God bless. Everyone is inspired by someone, right? Whether it be fashion, music, education, athletics, business, etc. there is always someone in a certain field to look up to. We thought we would share a few public figures that inspire us to do what we do every single day. With the exception of our family, friends, and God, here are both Jenny and Pablo's three picks in no particular order: Jenny's Picks: Michael Barr: Barr is the lead vocalist of the band Volumes. He has a unique style and has just recently started his own clothing line that he sells while he's on tour. What he does currently is exactly what Jenny plans to do in the near future. There may be many vocalists out there that start up clothing lines, but Barr's fashion sense and style separates him from the rest. Cara Loren Van Brocklin: This girl is one of the best fashion bloggers around. Cara was married at 19, had her first baby boy in her early 20s, is currently pregnant again with another boy, and continues to kill it blogging. She just turned 24 last week. Jenny admires how she breaks a ton of "fashion rules" like the whole brown & black and navy & black. Cara doesn't care. She's got great style and is running her blog like a business. Ellie Goulding: Jenny has always loved Ellie. About 2 years ago, Jenny and Pablo had seen her play a small venue in Philidephia...and it wasn't even sold out! Now she's playing huge stadiums. Her voice is very unique and she is too cute. It's because of Ellie that Jenny realized she wanted the band to be a little bit more electronic rather than acoustic. Ellie is also extremely athletic and healthy, which is such a positive influence. At age 27, she continues to make awesome hits that the world loves. Pablo's Picks: Patrick Maser: Pat is one of the most successful businessmen in the world. He is such a positive and intelligent man who is also extremely generous and kind. The guy has been featured in Success magazine a number of times and makes millions of dollars each year...not to mention he's Pablo's personal trainer and second cousin. Mattie Montgomery: Mattie is the vocalist of the christian heavy band For Today. He is a huge inspiration to Pablo when it comes to music ministry. What he does onstage and offstage is exactly how Pablo wants to be when on tour. Mattie is married with a son, but continues to spread the word of God to kids all over the world. He's a very sweet guy who always enjoys meeting his fans, not to mention his talent is incredible. Miley Cyrus: Hear this out, guys! Miley is a business woman who is taking the world by storm. She may be fluffing up feathers, but she knows exactly what she's doing. Although Pablo disagrees with the promiscuity and all of that craziness, he admires the passion that she has for what she does and how hardworking she is. The girl got so much media attention this past year, its unbelievable. You better believe she planned every single thing that she did to grab your attention. And guess what? It totally worked. Plus her new album is gold. Hope you guys enjoyed learning about the people that inspire us! There are so many more that we didn't have time to fit in, but these are pretty awesome people. Who inspires you? Leave a comment! Have a wonderful day. God bless. Hello! Pablo was very adament about making this blog post about color coordination and Jenny 100% agreed. Color coordinating is a major part of looking good. There are many color options to choose from and we believe that the ones that DO work outweigh the ones that DON'T. Here are some tips: 1) White goes with EVERYTHING. It's true. That's all we have to say about that. 2) You CAN match prints. ...but only if they have the same colors in them. We would only suggest combining 2 prints at most. 3) Black and brown usually make people frown. In most cases, black and brown don't go together, especially if a dark brown is involved. However, you can get away with black and light brown/tan color if you do it right. One major tip is to MAKE SURE YOUR BELT COLOR MATCHES YOUR SHOE COLOR. Please. We can't stress that enough. Black shoes = black belt. Brown shoes = brown belt. Also, never wear brown shoes with black dress pants or we'll be forced to burn both the pants and shoes...and probably your shirt seeing as you've already made a conscious decision to wear the pants and shoes. (We will still love you, though. Definitely be more worried about how you are on the inside versus what you wear because self growth is way more important than outward appearance.) 4) Accessories. Gold and silver jewelry can go together, but it's Jenny's personal preference that you stick to one or the other. It just seems to look a little cleaner. When jewelry has some type of beading or colored stone, just test it out to see if it looks good. For guys that stick to tip #3, gold or silver works with both black and brown. If you wanted to wear a brown watch with your brown belt and brown shoes, go for it. Same with wearing a black watch with a black belt and black shoes. 5) Find out what works for you. There are a ton of opinions out there when it comes to color coordination. Jenny has gotten into arguments with her friends about how she thinks navy blue and black can work if it's done correctly (it's not supposed to apparently). Everyone is different! If you google fashion tips for color coordination, one site is going to say brown and gray don't work, and another site is going to say that it's the best combination in the world. The point is to feel good in whatever you wear, and, in turn, inspire other people to feel good. We hope you guys enjoyed our July guest post yesterday as well as this post. Again, we're so thankful for the increasing views on here. We're having a blast running this blog and we hope you guys are loving it too. Have an amazing weekend! God bless. Surprise! Thanks to this gentleman right here, we have decided to do a monthly guest feature. Once a month, rotating from guy to girl, we're going to show our viewers regular people that have awesome style. These people consist of our friends, coworkers, classmates, or just people we've had the pleasure of meeting at some point in our lives. We've found that many blogs showcase just one person who constantly posts pictures of themselves, but we want to switch it up a little bit. We're not the only people with some sort of style, and we want to keep you guys engaged with a monthly surprise...not just with pictures of us. There will also be a Q & A with every guest we feature so that you can know a little bit more about who they are and what they're all about. We hope you enjoy this post and get inspired every month by our guests just as much as we do. God bless. Brandon, better known as "Fuzzy" in our hometown, is an awesome guy. Pablo has known Fuzzy for about 6 years. They became great friends through playing music together and also having similar hobbies. Jenny met Fuzzy last year due to a The Story So Far show. Fuzzy is a bit of a jokester and he's also very laid back. We love him and are very thankful and blessed that he could be our first ever monthly feature. He's got a fantastic style. So the surprise we've been mentioning is happening tomorrow! We hope you think it's cool...because we do. It's definitely something that can get a lot of people involved in this blog, which we are excited about as well. We're also planning some more things in the future so stay tuned for them. AND the wedding pictures that we've been talking about for weeks still need to be posted. It might be a week or two...but don't worry. We haven't forgotten. Many of our followers are currently from our hometown and will be pumped to find out who's wedding we photographed. Hint: He's an awesome teacher at BHS. To our followers that don't reside where we live, you guys will still love the pictures. Who doesn't love wedding pictures? Probably a lot of people, but that won't stop us. Anyway, today's look is kind of casual & makeshift. Pablo made his look a little bit more polished by wearing his white vans. Jenny created a makeshift dress out of an old Victoria's Secret nightgown. Large shirts/nightgowns are perfect for dresses! Just make sure they're long enough or you'll look like a hooch. Also, isn't this location awesome? So pretty. We went to Belvidere, NJ for this one! We hope you guys have an awesome day! Remember to visit our blog tomorrow for the cool surprise and hopefully you'll continue to visit in the future. If you have any other makeshift ideas for outfits, leave us a comment! Or if you just want to say hi. Thanks for everything! God bless. It can be extremely hard trying to create an outfit. There is no doubt about that. Even though that may be the case, we want to share our tips on how to make an outfit look completely pulled together, even if you're crunched on time: 1) If you have nice hair, you can wear anything. We strongly believe this. Take time on your hair and/or try a different style. Having nice hair will instantly make your outfit look more impressive. 2) Choose and build off of a central outfit piece. It can be a blazer, jeans, t-shirt, shoes...just pick something to start with and then build. Your outfit will look more organized and stylish if you add items that compliment the central piece. 3) Know your body type. Not all trends in today's fashion world work for every body type. If you want to look good, you have to wear articles of clothing that fit you. Clothes should never be too tight OR too baggy. Remember, there is such a thing as showing too much. 4) Accessorize. Watches, jewelry, purses, backpacks, sunglasses, etc. All of these accessories definitely help to pull an outfit together. Please remember to pick accessories with a color/shape/metal that goes well with your outfit. Gold jewelry always looks more expensive and gives you a certain upscale look. For the ladies, a matching purse can do WONDERS just like a watch can make a man look more profound. These are four easy tips on how to pull an outfit together. We hope they help. If you have any more questions, comment or shoot us an e-mail! We hope everyone has an awesome day. God bless. Hey guys! Today we're going to keep the post chill and just say this: When you're in a store, and you see something that you absolutely love...JUST BUY IT. Don't walk away. Having shoppers regret is terrible. Life is short. Impulse buys make the world go round...maybe. Well, we might be stretching that a little bit. Jenny's neon shoes are a prime example of an impulse buy. Pablo even impulse bought a pair of nikes while Christmas shopping for his mom. Oops. But all we have to say is that it's worth it at the end of the day. ALSO. This week has a big surprise in store & wedding pictures will be on their way prettttyyyy soon. Oh and yes we know how regret is spelled. Thanks for all of your views! God bless!
