Proverbs 23:18
Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 23:18 We all have doubts. Straight up. We doubt people, we doubt situations, we doubt ourselves, and we doubt God. But there is a reason why certain people and certain situations have met you along your path. Good or bad, they are lessons learned. There is also a reason that God put something on your heart...be it an aspiration, dream, goal, etc. Kari Jobe, someone both of us look up to as a musician always says, "God doesn't put dreams into your heart to tease you". He gave you unique talents and a unique personality to do something in this life. Some people spend their whole life burying the talents God gave them. We challenge you to sit down and think about why God made you the way you are...because we guarantee that it's for a specific reason. There are no mistakes. Find your talents and use them for something good. Change someone's life. Most importantly, have hope that your future is bright. God bless.

We are beyond excited about our November feature. Julian is a guy that we've known for a while, but we've never actually gotten to know. Both of us were always cool with him, and we always knew he was a nice kid, but sitting down with him was even more of a confirmation of that. He's got such a huge heart and a beautiful mind. Julian is creative, driven, kind, and unique. He actually wrote some amazing lyrics that we just made into a song that will be on our band's EP. His style is awesome too, so check out the pics below as well as the interview to learn a little bit more about the dude under the tattoos: Julian Greene Q: Who do you look up to? A: Wow this is a difficult question. I have more than one: 1) Gandhi: I love what he stood for. I love people that are about world peace and kindness, but he was just a great man. 2) Mattie Montgomery: I aspire to be a heavy vocalist in the future so Mattie is just an all around great guy with a lot of experience in that specific field. 3) Mr. Weaver (Teacher): Senior year was a really tough time for me. My uncle had passed away and I was struggling with that. It was a difficult time for Weaver too. I would stay after class and open up about my life and he would do the same. We know each other inside and out...we even hang out sometimes. He's a great guy and I'm so thankful for the lessons he taught me. Q: Who influenced your style? A: How do I say this without being cheesy? ...Ok I'll just say it. Tumblr. I follow a lot of fashion bloggers on there. Q: What do you do for work? A: I was a cashier at Five Below, but I cut my ties because I'm moving to Arizona soon. Q: What are your hobbies? A: I make music and I also enjoy camping and hiking. The outdoors is where I belong. That's why I'm moving to Arizona where the weather is nice! I need a place where I can show off my tattoos 24/7 ;) Q: What are your goals? A: Immediate: I'm looking to find a place to settle down and be comfortable. Long term: It'd be amazing to be a vocalist, but honestly, I just want to be happy. Q: What's your nationality? A: I am majority Italian but there is a little Puerto Rican on my dad's side. Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? A: If I'm not touring the country with a band, I pray that I'm off somewhere in the western part of the United States where I'll be self sustaining, off the grid, and happy. Q: When did your style develop? A: I'd probably say senior year of high school. I spent most of my high school years just passing in and out, trying to make the time go by, but senior year I decided to make myself a little bit more presentable. Q: Why do you dress the way that you do? A: I take good care of myself and I want people to know that. My ears and tattoos get a lot of attention, but I always try to present myself in a respectable way. Q: Why do you get up in the morning? What drives you? A: My mom. I don't get to see her too often, and I'm not where I want to be at the moment, but I know that if I make my mom proud, it'll be ok. Q: If you were a chair, who would you give permission to sit on you? A: ...I've seen some circulating pictures of Kim Kardashian...so I guess I could say I wouldn't mind her sitting on me. Q: What is your favorite song at the moment? A: "Robbers" by the 1975. It's just one of those car jams. Julian's Outfit Details:

It was around 40 some odd degrees today where we live and Jenny was completely bundled up. Pablo, on the other hand, was fine in his lavender short sleeve polo and black jeans. Jenny wore a warm dark teal coat over her H&M shirt dress and paired it with some jeans, a black infinity scarf, and converse. White converse are chic, versatile, and just all around the ish...it really doesn't matter what your style is. Hope you enjoy this post! Love you guys. God bless. P.S. The new official website is in progress. Yes, that means no more '.weebly.com'....We're going to release it around the new year so get pumped because it's looking so good. Also, we're planning a giveaway for December so be ready for that as well. Jenny's Outfit Details:

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone tell you that you can't to something just because you're young. It's not true. All minds, young and old, have great value and deserved to be recognized and encouraged. That being said, respect isn't just a problem when it comes to primarily older people or primarily younger people, it's a problem for everyone. Everyone messes up sometimes. Recently, we've seen a lot of posts saying "if you don't give me respect, you won't get my respect. I don't care how old you are." There's some truth to that, but, Jesus also says "turn the other cheek". Set an example, even if the person is rude. Be the bigger person, act mature, and move on. Be Christlike in all that you do and be the best that you can be. Follow your dreams regardless of what older people might say. Listen to them and take their advice, but do what you gotta do. It's our generation that has to step up and change the world now. God bless.
Happy Friday! We dig today's post because we tried something new and switched some photo editing presets up. It's a bit brighter and clearer. Remember, blogging is really one huge learning process. As we look back on older posts, it's amazing to see how far we have come, and how many things we've changed. We used to look real awkward...we probably still do (HA!), but it's nice to see the progress. We're still trying to master our photography skills, editing skills, fashion skills, poses, and all that stuff. As far as fashion goes, we're just doing what feels right. We are, by no means, experts...but we're super flattered if you guys support what we're doing. That's all we can ask for. God bless. Jenny's Outfit Details:

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 If you're struggling and tired, give it to God. If you're unhappy with yourself, ask Him to steady and renew your heart. None of us are perfect. There are so many struggles that we face. Our calling is to spread God's word and be the best that we possibly can be. We need to realign our hearts to be pure, selfless, humble, uplifting, and kind, but we can't do anything without the Lord. He overcame death, so why couldn't He help us overcome our problems? Check the video out below of one of the cutest people in the world...she's got a super dope voice. Crazy powerful song. Jenny's homegirl. God bless. It snowed last night. Crazy. We decided to wear some red and orange in this post because those are the colors that come to mind when we think of Fall (even though it feels like winter). Jenny paired her red with a black coat and some acid wash jeans. She loves chunky black shoes, so she picked up the ones she's wearing at a thrift store about two weeks ago. Pablo is rocking an orange sweater over a white button up for a sophisticated look. He also matched his watch with his G.H. Bass loafers. We hope you guys have an amazing Friday! God bless. P.S. We have a giveaway planned for December. IT'S HAPPENING. Told you! We mean what we say. Plus we have a freaking awesome November feature.
